.. we cleared the boss multiple times .. harassing and ebarrasing me about my DPS.
This is never a way to get someone motivated to improve.

I personally don't care about dps, as long as we don't see enrage. IF enrage happens that is another talk. Underperforming players should know that they are the reason this happened. The problem here is that they won't take it lightly and play the victim role.

I've been to parties where we fail dps check and the person with the lowers dps is the one complaining about it. I don't blame him, no one faced him and told him the truth.
What do people do in such situations? They either kick the player without warning or disband the party.

In your situation, I wouldn't care since we are clearing the content. But please don't defend bad players. Defending them won't make them improve.
