I think skilled players that were queuing before will continue do so, because they are there for the bonuses rather than redo some piece of content they already know. If meet with leafs is an annoyance, it is the price to pay for bonuses.

As long as everyday I see countless threads about how duties are facerolls and healers can just go cleric fulltime, I'm quite sure those "leftovers" will complete them anyway.

For now, if at some point Square follows Blizzard with a new dungeon difficulty not included inside DF GL HF for those "I don't give a flaying fuxx".

I can tell you, they are getting less and less. I'm one of them and know alot others that even do expert roulette in a premade party since some time.

With a twink I did A9S and A10S in Raidfinder some weeks. But with the release of cross server PF... this was my last week I did this content with ramdom people.

As already said: Zurvan Ex is a good explample to see the direction of the community. Its far the easiest primal we got in Heavensward.

What do you think is the reason, why its working so terrible in PF? The "skip soar" is prominent, but not the issue. Its also not the level of "challange" that made it this worse. Its because the most people in PF parties were people, that are just not ready to do this kind of content (The "I pay my sub and play like I want" fraction) and the left overs. The amount of skilled veterans is shrinking more and more and the successfull "carries" get less and less.

Sorry to say, but there were alot carries in the past and this is one of the main reasons, why people lose thrust in random parties.

Today more and more of the skilled players are organized in linkshells and friendlists. Like before we got the duty and party finder at all.

Its very similar to the JP system. The difference is: they use blacklists. We use whitelists.

Yes and no. Currently, tomestones are gifted like candy. As a raider, I usually capped within the first day. In fact, I ran Expert Roulette less than thirty times since 3.5 dropped what, six months ago?

If it reaches a point where the player skill gap is large enough, better players won't queue. I noticed the last few patches queue times have declined considerably. So that mindset may already be in motion. This isn't an elitist stance either; before anyone attempts to argue otherwise. People don't want to bother with groups who can't be bothered to learn the very basics of their job by max level.
