The "pc master race" people are just upset that SE won't let them mod their client so they lash out at the console players. Even if it was PC only I doubt they would go back to 1.0 style graphics, which only the very top end PC could play. Like someone posted earlier most people probably have average-decent computer and a top end PC.

PC is objectively the superior gaming platform. I hardly ever mod games and I still can say this, as a former console gamer at that. Consoles quite simply lack the modularity and performance potential that PCs have.

PS3 was just the biggest evidence of this at this time. That's why people are happy to see support for it go. It was holding back the game's growth. Even a low end PC that would've been considered low end when it was built in 2010 for example has better performance than a PS3.

You're free to game on whatever you like to game on of course, but if there's any time and place for PC players to voice their "PC master race" feelings, it's on a cross-platform game where their experience is only limited by outdated console hardware.
