    Just because you haven't encountered it doesn't mean it is rare. Like if you had never seen a cricket...does that mean they don't exist or must be very rare? I don't know about you but I hear them all over the place in the summer at night even if I don't see them with my eyes.

    People have shared problems with people queuing with improper gear so it exists. The main issue isn't about how often it happens just the fact that it would be simple to stop it from being possible at all and avoid annoyance and wasted time.

    You can vote kick people, sure, but in the end they still wasted their time and everyone elses because now you have to sit there waiting for member in progress which sometimes a long time passes and you don't get a replacement and then sometimes whole group just ends up leaving and having to requeue...so...move on with your day? Maybe or maybe you end up wasting 20-40 minutes.

    Why put up with that wasted time when it could all be solved by just adjusting the DF system a bit. A lot of DF content already has item level requirements on it so obviously it wouldn't be difficult to do the same for the content that is currently missing item level reqs.

    THIS WILL REPEAT for STORMBLOOD! more requirements ARE NEEDED. ALL DF need entry requirements including outlining what your weapon should be since that holds soo much weight in your performance then what a simple gear average accounts for.

    If you saw that person talking to me it should be clear they do not respect others. Also you need to consider some people force you to deal with it, while other times, 5 minutes is too long of a wait to kick someone. Remove that timer or let us kick in battle. I know kicking in battle is a very bad idea as it can lead to MPK, something I seen already in deep before but something needs to be done.

    But yes it should be prevented.

    Yeah I ran into a bard in vault with an ilvl 55 weapon and i90 job gear. He died on every boss from low HP.

    This is one of the issue we have in game as 3.X patch
    at the very last patch we have to do a dungeon as MSQ required
    which the dungeon have 230 il requirement
    if a player do MSQ only, he/she can only grind Tomestone of Lore to gear a full set of 230
    but the player will not reach il230 by it, since no weapon and missing 1 ring
    thus, the player have to grind scripture to exchange some 260 gear
    not to mention how limit weapon will be

    I am not against setting iL for leveling and MSQ dungeon, but the dev have to make sure they have provide enough way to obtain equipment during the MSQ or NPC selling them

    I'd say the level 50 dungeons with the poetics are a great way to level alts and get started with leveling from 50 and beyond.

    I mean, the prices of the poetic gear were halved from what they originally sold for. With these cheaper tome prices, players can gear their characters up without having to spend lots of gil.

    Not to mention the Carboncoat and Carbontwine can improve said gear.

    only assuming new player would do Midas story and PotD
    60 dun or leveling is not the issue in my thread, it is SE put a MSQ dung with a specific iL requirement which would appear to be not so easy to reach by doing MSQ only
    what I am trying to say is, if leveling dungeon is going to have il requirement, this Baelsar's Wall 230 non-sense have no room in 4.9
    either they have to give out main hand progression in MSQ, NPC vendor or drop in lower level MSQ dung

    The thing you have to remember is you're talking about a 3.5 MSQ.

    There are 5 full patches between hitting fresh level 60 and the MSQ you're talking about. It's rather expected that a player grinds gear between 3.0 and 3.5 to some extent.
    You can't just finish 3.0 and expect to keep zerging MSQ until 3.5.. There's like 1.5 years worth of content there.
