I'll talk with my wallet by spending three times less money into the game.

The feeling I have with XIV is that the content itself doesn't matter at all, thanks to tomestones. People complain about doing the same two dungeons for 6 months ? For me, the game is asking me to do the same routine for 4 years. And, no, FFXI didn't keep the same setup for that long.

The problem with the vertical progression in XIV is that only one content can hold really meaningful gear. So, all other content is quickly useless, to the point that every odd patch doesn't offer any real gear progression.

Problem is, this is not so much different. After you leveled one crafter, you can't really expect other crafters to be a whole new experience. Same for gatherers, and not so much different for Disciple of War and Magic.
