Just play Dark Knight. We use two-handed swords and a few styles look like katanas.
Yes, I know it's not the same thing, but a Shogun would be far, far too much overlap and redundancy.

plz. don't assume what I would/wouldn't like because I don't like the job you main. and it would be SE's version of shogun so that doesn't mean it would use a fan.
heres what the fan was actually for:
Gunbai (Gumbai), Gunpai (Gumpai) or dansen uchiwa (軍配?) were large solid open fans that could be solid iron, metal with wooden core, or solid wood, which were carried by high-ranking officers. They were used to ward off arrows, as a sunshade, and to signal to troops.

Shogun was planned until well into HW development. The core of the job that we now call DRK, used to in fact be SAM, but was changed due to aesthetic similarities of NIN, and the fact that it didn't really fit into HW. So yes, if we got SAM tank, there would be a lot of overlap with DRK, because DRK used to BE SAM. You not liking Shogun based on you not liking DRK isn't an unreasonable assumption.
