Shogun Tank Request Thoughts

Indeed, however in Japanese, Palidain is called Knight, so im not sure a Knight job would come. Other then that however, it is for sure that the next Job would not be Shogun, but something else. But I just want to raise awareness for the devs to know, that some people would still like to see a Shogun Job, that Yoshida mentoned before.

Oh I see, kinda thought about Paladin being "Knight like" to be honest. Anyway, I like the idea of a Shogun and being tank. But I think, it would still need something to be special about... So people dont compare it all the time as SAM dps and so on. What for a weapon would Shogun wield? How would its Artifact gear look like and would it look different from Samurai?

Yet I do remember that the Dev said that they do not want to do 3 jobs in a expansion with that small group... And they definetly wouldnt do a new job like NIN in the middle of an expansion cycle. ><

Since tha Katana and Scabbard is taken. It could be the Oudachi or Nodachi. Maybe perhaps a Katana and Wakizashi, but that would seem more DPS like. But tanks seems to, at this time, lean more to heavy weapons rather then light weapons. That being said, I hope they dont choose the Kanabou or Tetsubou.

Shoguns AF would look like the original Final Fantasy Samurai, and I'm guessing dual wield katanad or use a wakizashi and katana

Personally, I agree with the statement about holding it off. I would really like to see a Dancer/BlueMage/Mystic Knight trio come out hopefully itd make things up for healers and tanks that got left out this time around
