    I support the idea of Shinryu, just from the fact that you can't have one without the other, in Final Fantasy games with the exception of XIII-2 (iirc didn't do all DLC) and Mobius those two have always been ying and yang.

    Also since this game is 95% homages to other Final Fantasy games I doubt they'd do a disservice of having those two never interact.

    They're both in FFXI, the other MMO, and don't interact (completely different expansions/eras/dimensions). But yeah I think FFXIV is much more about fanservice, so I don't dispute your point.

    Do Omega and Shinryu ever truly interact with each other in most of the games? Yes there is mentions and many times when one appears the other isn't long away, but I honestly don't remember ever seeing them actually fight each other.
