And Zurvan could have had some actual healing checks and a mechanic that required multiple tanks. They played themself.

Unsyncing was a mistake. I shouldn't have to convince people to waste their time running something synced when they can just unsync it with no actual penalties, including to drops at the end.
Like what? Although easy to say, what precisely could they offer as incentive? Gear isn't an option since that invalidates relevant content and we already have mounts. None of this considers the fact Wondrous Tales exists so new players can participate in old content. I used to argue the same-- that it should be unsynced. But as someone pointed out; and I'm reiterating. The moment they make it challenging is the moment people's expectations of others increases. I'll be frank in admitting I am far less likely to consistently run Titan Extreme with random pugs who have no idea what they're doing than my group of friends or raiders I know. Why? I'm running them for weekly rewards, thus I wanted a better degree of assurance I'll actually get it done. And if the rewards aren't worth it that week, I won't even bother.

Wondrous Tales was never intended to revitalize old content at relevant ilvl, but to get people back into it. Should they ever want to actually make old Primals new again, then they would be better off scaling them up to 70 or releasing a Savage version.

Zurvan is a different matter entirely. He is a failure in design since he's suppose to be relevant yet has been stomped on hilariously fast.
