What do you mean by 'original audio?' Every language is roughly voiced at the same time in FFXIV, right? This isn't like any other Final Fantasy/JRPG where it's released in Japan first.
I also do not believe the localisation suffers at all. Every dialect matches the character (though Urianger does kinda feel like a hipster with his thy's and thou's. It makes sense for Hydaelyn and Midgardsormr, since they're the oldest 'beings' we know of).

When I said original audio I was talking about the Japanese audio.

Then it's not the 'original' audio. As I said in the quote, this isn't like any other JRPG where the game comes out in Japan first and is then translated-localised.

The Japanese version is the original material that's why there's an English localization team translating the game.

You're mistaken. The Japanese script isn't any more "original" than the English script because both are worked on at the same time collaboratively.

There is no 'original'. I recall the dev team stating that the localization teams work together to form the plot and the dialogue, which could mean that the origin could have been English, or French, or German, or Japanese. Many terms are taken from English and localised into Japanese. Heck, the script of FFXIV is based off English. The Japanese version is as original as any of the others as they are developed at the same time. As a company, SE is centred at Japanese, but that has no effect on the plot, audio or teams when they are working as cohesively internationally as the FFXIV developers are.
