you have said all, the goal of yoshida was to make us think hard about what it means, not really give a hint easy. honestly it can be anything, but i will bet my money on Samurai too.... not because of the t-shirt but because of the event ingame of the 2ndanniversary



actually i'm more curious to know what will be the third job, if we get one, plus one extremely important point, no where he have said that new jobs will be a trinity, if they make the job start at 50 they don't need after all, many people haven't leveled all them jobs passed 50.

plus add a tank and healer will not make the waiting of the duty finder go faster, that a big misconception player have for age, tank will always be the role the less played, whatever you do. because most people don't want to have this role and want either dps or heal, don't want to do the tank job that often see like a chores more than fun.

ps: i will be kinda upset if they dare put the samurai in tank, we already have 2 tank with sword, it's time to get one as dps. give us a truely new type of tank instead to play safe and not really interesting.

like said no point in add more healer and tank if it don't bring something really new to the table, plus player mostly want to play dps and note my word, we will always end with more dps than tanks and healer, for a good old reason, the number of dps needed in group are often 2-3 time more than tank or healer.

outside this, redmage is not a blade dps, it's mage dps that have a few melee attack, it was said while the key note, using chain magic, before do a melee attack and finish with chain magic, even in the video it's clear, you wee the redmage mix the two, here i'm talking of a pure physical blade class, it's one of the most iconic stuff of the ff franchise and we haven't get one yet, what it's a big let's down.

ps: i highly suspect the red mage to be a piercing dps by the way

here i'm talking of a pure physical blade class, it's one of the most iconic stuff of the ff franchise and we haven't get one yet, what it's a big let's down.

We have plenty of pure physical blade classes in the game, just most of them are tanks and there's nothing wrong with that nor anything wrong with more blade using classes being tanks.

You talk a lot about only adding jobs that bring something unique, but if SAM can't be a unique tank, how exactly is it going to be a unique DPS? Another melee dps of which we have 3 of? With what, more positional attacks? Oh boy, so original.
