So this then discredits the idea of DRK knight being a two handed sword TANK right? I mean we do use magic in conjunction with our blade. As such a Samurai using a sword and purely physical skills as a TANK would be a first.

isn't what do the war already, pure physical 2 hand weapon tank? often people tend to forget this point, that fact that the war is already a 2 hand weapon pure physical tank. exept the weapon and maybe a gimmick in the way to attack it will fit the say role. it's often said and everytime it's ignored.

Same is true for Dps. No new Classes ever right?

I'd really like not all Tanks and Healers to get bored with the game and quit because hey "only dps players get new toys why shouldn't I just go dps"

the point to add a new jobs it's to offer a new way to play, here the samurai will barely be different than the war....

i will be ok with an evasion tank or a pure magical tank, but there the samurai bring nothing news, worst it the same in a way than with the war.

bring a new tank simply for add a difference in animation and weapon is a bad way, and anyway, yoshida have said it itself, they will bring jobs that will add new thing to the group, the samurai is way too similar as the warrior.

what he can bring to the dps? slow burst dps, job that will strike hard and not really fast, not forced to be based on positional and more based on the of the skill. because soo far i feel the positional recquirement have become a shackle that limite what they can add to as jobs.

well can be nice, but the FF series have an amount of different jobs quite insane then who know, anyway, we will have the answer in febuary, pleased with it or not.
