Yeah the whole Sam Remi seems far too meta given the history of his past shirts being so obvious that its not obvious. Examples include, the Batman T-shirt (confirmed Dark Knight), 007 T-shirt (confirmed Machinist), though the latter one was a little trickier I still believe that it's too soon to have SAM in the story atleast. I'd rather wait till FFXIV goes to the "Far East" to fight the Garleans there and then learn the Job in a more suitable environment. Also, given the trends of how most MMO's do a "Japanese" or "Asian" themed expansion I feel like SAM will fit much better there. 5.0 maybe?

A) Sam Raimi suggestion is a bit too much of a stretch,
B) Yoshi said "no dancer in 4.0" because he "wanted to get it just right" (unless he's just messing with us),
C) devs pretty much said "no blue mage" because it wouldn't meet the demands of XI crybabies (unless someone there read this post), and
D) Beastmaster? Really?

So just watched that, and I'm going to have the biggest laugh if we do get BLU, and instead of monsters it uses the powers of primals instead. As you mentioned those abilities were rather ifrit based, and if that happens we may as well delete SMN xD

It would certainly be an interesting concept, but I don't think they'd go as far as giving us primal abilities. I'd think that if Raubahn does prove to be a BLU because obviously they're not just gonna make him obviously one before they release the actual class, that he is probably far more powerful and trained then we the players would be as BLU. I think a notorious monster quest system might be fun for collecting different abilities, rather than class quests. I'd much rather earn my abilities then just do a quest and be done with it.

They've mentioned in the Rising event early this year or last year I believe the possibility of BLU ("What comes after white and black? Red, I say!" "Red?! Don't you mean Blue?!") so I would not discredit that at all, especially sine they're making class overhauls.

That was just a joke in the game though. Less something worth looking into and more a jab at people requesting red mage and blue mage, nothing more.

Supposedly he said he was a fan of the first 3 movies (the Sam Raimi movies) when he showed the shirt so it might not be a stretch.

If BLU is introduced i'm hoping for another epic weapon. My sugestion (as late and un-needed as it is) would be this.
