Well, now that you're done with the boring leveling, what are you doing that is fun?I see your sarcasm detector is busted.
This game has been out a year between the Server side lag, same old guildleve's, lack of guardian favor, and slew of other crap. I'm simply tired of it, I got 50 jobs to way way way way before 1.19 and you know what it wasn't fun. I just want a few abilities to mess around without all the BS. You know what leveling in the game still isn't that fun but at least I could get it over with quickly.
Then why not just be happy with what you have? If you are not satisfied with the game itself, or lack of things to do to improve yourself @50. I've been here since Alpha seen the ups and downs, quit during what I call the Leve exploit (due to I hate broken mechanics) and I refuse to play when things aren't to my liking. I wasn't trying to be rude and yes, I've seen plenty of complaining and we know your opinion and of right now, its atleast "kind of" what you want. So be happyI see your sarcasm detector is busted.

The patch notes if read.. say that Exp rates are adjusted when a low level player and high level player are in a party.
To work around this annoyance we just remove the high level person from the party and turn him into a ks'er that way the rates are not effected by the higher level player.
Hopefully I can persevere and get my PGL to 30 today, his pure PL'ed = ).

If you are more than 10 levels below the highest character, you will get ZERO exp. I think thats worse than it was prior to 1.19. At least got some tiny amount. now you get nothing.
Like I said, one extreme to the other.
now the cryers about powerlevelling get to cry about not enough exp with higher levels in party
Do we know yet how well party members stand up to level 45+ monsters before the PL gets hate on them?
If what you say is correct I would think the next issue would be low level party members not getting 1-2 shot killed. I can't imagine them gathering a large group of monsters at all, the way I saw the PL earlier gather a large army of apkallu.
I would think it would go something like this:
Chosen "puller" party member goes to tag a monster much to strong for him, almost dies in 1-2 hits and PL pulls the monster off him OR party member dies and the party is now delayed.
Say he did get the monster, with some difficulty, he's now going to require a heck of a lot of curing, likely to full health before he can claim a second monster and nearly die again. The party member would have to stop to be cured before grabbing another monster.
I would think it would be a one-monster-at-a-time thing, rather than killing a large group quickly.
it would seem to me parties being PL'd would have to fight things closer to their level. Safer monsters.
Does this sound right or am I totally off? I've only witnessed one PL party, so I may be missing something.

I believe how it's supposed to work is like so:

1. Person in party (preferably some sort of tank) links a mess of mobs appropriate for his/her level.
2. High level Powerleveler, who is outside of party, AoE-blasts the gathered mobs.
3. PL gets 0 xp, party gets full rewards.

I find PL'ing at enemy not too high level above the lowbies them much faster as long as the monster is capable of 1-2 shotted. So their is no way the monsters could one shot me.
Yesterday when my PL'd PGL was 24 I was getting 400-600 exp per kill on monster in nanawa mines and those creatures could not one shot me I was able to survive around 4 hits (LV1 Starter Equipment) before it was able to me again is was dead. I aggro'd stuff since I was being stupid.. T.T
PS : I'm sure people would stop getting PL'd once they reach 40 they can just join a normal group to take on encampments, that what I plan to do with my PL'd PGL.

I barely took advantage of PL, most of my jobs were already 36 except CNJ which was about 32 and I was about to start PL my MRD but missed my opportunity.
Principle bro when you pay $85 for a game and you get this, you better play it even if its crappy. Don't get me wrong I hate the leveling aspect of the game, doing rank 50 events with my LS is enjoyable and its why I play but to better myself for events I have to do what I hate "leveling". I often worry about how the leveling will be once they raise the level cap, 200k TNL O YEA GET HYPE !!!!!. We should all be scared very scared. Then why not just be happy with what you have? Yoshi-P doing good work but the leveling aspect of this game needs alot of work still.
