Power-leveling is absolutely BROKEN

I don't see why this is a bad thing outside of getting idiots that obviously don't know how to play their class...in those cases, there is an oust button..

Major problems:

A - It reduces the number of people willing to make regular parties, frustrating those who wanted to do so. This is specially bad for new players, because they won't find people to party with and neither will find people willing to PL them so easily. End result: They will leave the game, unless they're solo enthusiats.

B - It makes people reach the cap way too fast, and these people will consume all the content way too quickly. This wouldn't be so bad if SE could keep up with introducing new content, but at least at this point in time it is pretty much impossible without delaying the other major fixes the game needs. You know what happens when people have no content to do? They get bored, and once again, at least a few of those will likely leave the game as well

C - Lower level content and gear becomes useless and outdated quickly, adding even more frustration to the lower level players that can't / don't want to PL.

1.0 is for hardcore players at this point. I feel there really isn't enough casual content to draw players who want to take their time and enjoy the game world, which is mostly who would benefit from a slower paced leveling system, anyway. The effort to put in content of that caliber is entirely directed at 2.0. All I'm seeing for 1.0 is content directed at keeping level 50 classes occupied for the next year.

Hardcore players just want to skip the lower level content anyway to get to the endgame gear, so in that light, why not let them? They won't leave because they got level 50 too easy, that's for sure. Even while many hardcore players complain that leveling is too fast, they're the ones leading the charge in powerleveling parties, getting all their linkshell buddies maxed out to their heart's content. There won't be many casual players left to lord over your rank 50 "accomplishment" until a glut of level 1 PS3 players emerge. And there's only a limited time to get at some of the treasures that will only be offered until 2.0 comes out.

So why not just enjoy the fast track to endgame for what it is?

why don't you follow my posts and learn how to read them. i never once stated power leveling should be removed completely. what i said is it should be put in balance with the sp you get in a grind party. if they were the same people would have the option to do either without being gimped by doing so.

i have no issues with an 8 person party getting power leveled. what i have a problem with is that same group of 8 getting power leveled gets 10x the sp that another group of 8 that is grinding gets. if they both got the same amount of sp then the issue would be done imo.

i am not asking for power leveling to be removed, but want it to be in line with the other parties. if you cannot agree that both types of parties should be put in line with each other then, yes, i stick by the your ignorant.

You claim no one talks to each other that has been the case since forever tho or could just be your server, also if i wanted to right now if i was on your server i could steal your exp camp without being in a pl pt.

not only Besaid, that goes to most of server that ppl almost never talk/chat with each other by here I mean /sh or /s, say almost never is wrong, rarely will be more correct.
