are you sure this is coming? according to the link you just posted yourself it actually states

"Currently however, we don't have any plans to ease up on these restrictions"

it states they will continue to hear feedback on the issue, but not that they have decided to do so or not. as of right now they have no plans.

I don't see why this is a bad thing outside of getting idiots that obviously don't know how to play their class...in those cases, there is an oust button..

Problem that I ran into is that you take so much time to put together a party to grind and then next thing you know 50% of your party has no idea how to play and what abilities they have and you have to oust them.. now youre back to the start trying to put together a grind party again.

Like the other day 2 of the L50 mages I had in a spiritbond party had no idea wtf stoneskin is and they even admitted it "ya i power leveled to 50 and didnt pay attention to the abilities I learned AND THEN you got noobs who are wearing completely wrong gear for their job and refuse to listen to you...

and omg their gear... i thought they were just wearing that low level stuff to bond... but when I asked.. it was their actual gear..

So yes it is a problem when you have to take time to put a party together and then have to do it all over again when you get to camp only to find out ppl dont know what they are donig.

That's not entirely the fault of PLing, though. I must admit, it may be hold some of the blame, but not entirely. Bads will be bads. Idiots will be idiots. Even in League of Legends, where you can't power level, level 30s (max level) don't know the different between AD, AP and Tank champs...I even have been asked by a max level what a jungler is (this is a basic concept). So...not all of the blame can be put on PLing, while some can, but most of it can be put on the players for just being dumb...

I agree with everything Thanos says here... And I agreed before I realized who he was.

PL should not be faster XP than getting a good group together to XP. Ideally you should be learning your role in party play. Now I agree, a bad player that was PL is still a bad Player if they level in a group, but I think a good player who leveled in a group is a better player than if they were AFK PL'ed. A good player can be taught at 50 how to do their job and what gear to wear, but if they actually participated in their XP gain they should already know this.

I will be a hypocrite here, I had to level glad to 36 and I admit I got a PL. I had no interest in glad and was told that I was REQUIRED to have sentinel for Ifrit. * But this is an entirely different problem *
