And with 550 Attack, you will most certainly take advantage of your own Maim effect.

    Have fun out there.
    Do murderous intent first.

I'm usually the tank so what I have to do is run behind the mob first. Kinda annoying.

This. Because Murderous intent last long enough for both. I don't suggest using all these buffs though. At least for me maim effect would end midbuffs due game latency...so stacking 4 actions (counting heavy swing and not counting murderous intent) is too "risky".

Now that the TP gain is fixed in 500/swing, i'd rather use:

MI > Maim > Heavy Swing > Buff > Skull Sunder

    or

    MI > Maim > Heavy Swing > Broad/Full > Brutal Swing

    or

    MI > Maim > Heavy > Full > Broad > Storm Path

I'm counting only 3 actions during the 10 seconds because it's my "safe limit"...you can add some buffs there you you don't have bad latency like i do. From these combos, i'd rather use last one...right now i do am seeking Storm Path since it's dealing like 3x Skull Sunder average damage (like 2x if you count the DoT effect os it).

For frontal business i would stick with Transcedence + Absorb-ATK. It's lasting 1min20' now...so you can keep it going full time since the effect lasts longer than recast. I just don't know how well it's accuracy on big dudes...at 50ish mobs i'm having some very decent magic acc even without rings so i still believe DRK-Wannabe setup is valid.

Good to hear magic can be useful on melee.
I heard Drain got a nice boost as well, may need to try that out.

The absorb stat spells are useful now, yes.

Drain got buffed too, but it still costs like 90 MP. That's kinda a lot.

    Very true.

Since I use a controller it's very easy for me to unlock target, run straight until behind the mob, lock on target which turns me around, and then hit them from behind.
Hitting them with Jarring Strike or Leg Sweep first makes it even easier.
