Perfectly said. What a perfect opportunity you had to teach your nephews about how silly the ideas enforced by polarized cis-gender-normativity are. A shame that you instead let their conditioning reinforce yours.
Long and short: no, the game is not "too feminine," because femininity in and of itself is not somehow bad, and nor is it intrinsically tied to gender or sex. What is bad is rejecting something at face value because it seems "too feminine." Instead, be confident in yourself and who you are, don't be afraid if you enjoy something that doesn't fit in the box label you've assigned to yourself, and don't shame anyone else who doesn't fit into a box either. Humans are beautifully complex individuals, and generalizations like labels and stereotypes cheapen the experience of interacting with one another, and only cause harm. The less you assume, the more you ask, the more you learn, and the fuller your life will be.
