Of course I wouldn't. I'm a strong believer of "you reap what you sow" you see. A thread that is founded upon wretched ideals of "masculinity" is going to be a breeding ground for for even worse stuff, and even past the pages where the OP's discussion was no longer relevant, worse stuff still happened (especially with that jerk who brought up "tumblr rhetoric" and similar garbage).

Anyway, can someone do me a favor and notify fantasticism that they are graced with the honor of being the first person on my ignore list, so they shouldn't ask me for anything, ever.

It is a cool word. Coined by a human rights activist in the 19th century - definitely an uncommon source for most medical/scientific terminology. Good guy.

I'm not gay, but I'd be down for that function adjustment. I think it'd be quite a useful tool for comedy. Or is making fun of pen15 in a video game as hurtful as it is IRL for some people?

Whatever me and my friend coined it in the 90's the word to us mean something that is "dumb" or "stupid". Like "hey, do you want to go play tag?" and I would respond to them "no, that's gay lets play something else"

Back in the 13th century the word meant “light-hearted” or “joyous” and a century later it meant “bright and showy”.

But in the 1630s it acquired connotations of immorality with the term “Gay woman” meaning prostitute or “gay house” a brothel. It was first used to refer to homosexuality in the 1930s.

The word has many meaning and I believe who discovered it first has the rightful use of its meaning. So out of respect to the people of the 13th century it means “light-hearted” or “joyous”.

you might be asking yourself "Ultima, What in the lala does this have to do with this thread or FF14?" Well I'll tell you...

Do you have male characters that you play? Imo I think most people want bigger boobs and butt for their own character and could really care less about other people's characters.

I wouldn't be opposed to a 'bulge slider' for male characters though that would likely need an adjustment to the base model. An easier method would simply be to add the /illusion/ of a reasonable bulge through the use of tight trousers and underwear. I believe some gear does that already but more options would be appreciated.

EDIT: I'd too, be fine for bulges as long as people don't use them as harassment tools towards other players.

Long and short: no, the game is not "too feminine," because femininity in and of itself is not somehow bad, and nor is it intrinsically tied to gender or sex. What is bad is rejecting something at face value because it seems "too feminine." Instead, be confident in yourself and who you are, don't be afraid if you enjoy something that doesn't fit in the box label you've assigned to yourself, and don't shame anyone else who doesn't fit into a box either. Humans are beautifully complex individuals, and generalizations like labels and stereotypes cheapen the experience of interacting with one another, and only cause harm. The less you assume, the more you ask, the more you learn, and the fuller your life will be.
Where exactly did Vlady expressly state femininity was bad? What you purpose is he "educate" his nephews by correcting their subjective opinions to what you deem appropriate. Men and women have different standards on aesthetics and what they personally fancy. Claiming something is "too girly" is merely them asserting their preference in a short-handed manner. Only you have conflated that to somehow insult femininity or women as a whole when neither actually occurred. When someone claims the game is "too feminine," they are, likewise, equating it to mean "the attire/armour in this game appeals more to women". At no point did the OP ascribe a weakness to femininity.
