    Clearly by adding new content meant for parties to complete together. Allow us to do instanced battles of the bosses in the Job quests as a party, MSQ's, what have you. More content then just reruns of the same boss fights and dungeons over and over again.

    I'd be much more excited to fight a beefed up Raubahn as a party over Hullbreaker.

    Increase the difficulty of dungeons to the point you need 8 guys to get through it.

    Hell a PvP mode based on the MSQ's "Grand Melee". The grand melee was so well thought out and all we get is...Shatter....

    - Stop copying the same rewards and giving them a new skin/color swaps. (ADS balls, Zu mounts, White Fat chocobo, Beastmen dallies minions etc.)
    - Add in a triangle area and a multi floor area like what we had in to kill a raven.
    - Add in new PvP rules. Like King of the hill.
    - Remove the ability to choose frontlines & instead like it cycle randomly to different arenas so older & newer content never gets stale or dies out.
    - Slow down the combat a little bit when your adding in more actions into the game. (Balance the GCD a bit more)
    - Magitek Companion/Attachment, usefulness in 5.0.
    - Being able to use retainers on the open world.
    - Have Airships take you to special endgame areas, with a purpose.
    - Have Brass Seals give armor & used for relic quest line. Also be able to trade them.
    - Balance out desysthing where we can level it up without having to buy 500k equips.
    - Don't nerf vanity items just because more people want them. There is a market there and if you nerf it noone cares about showing off the $$$ vanity item.
    - Make Battle & Grand Company Leves important/more rewarding then what they are. (Players don't use them. Only on DoH & DoL leves. Fates & dungeons are faster exp.)
    - Add all rewards at the end of a dungeon. So players don't get the item and leave in a middle of a dungeon.
    - Allow players use large amounts of tokens to buy mounts that drop from primals.

    These are what players have been asking for sometime or have been expecting since 2.0 was being built. Also a lot of balancing issues/need purpose needs to be done.


    This... I agree 10000% with this except for one minor detail.. I don't want that beautiful race being disgraced with this game.

    I request Beetle's post be sticky so it will be known what this game desperately needs.

    Yes i know what you mean, and i tell you again, lvl50 dungeons are irrelevant, people might do them because FATEs are dead, but it's not something with low queue, like i said people do the roulette for daily exp and wait for reset, that's the people you see in the lvl50 dungeons, can be people doing old relic too, even new for tomes, but once they're done with relic it's dead content, therefor irrelevant.

    there's absolutely no reason to do lvl50 dungeons or even 60 besides the roulette, so exciting. That's called dead content.

    You can't look at how it is currently when it's relevant for tomes, when people re done with the relic the rate at which people do lvl50 dungeons will drop drastically.

    Anyway player base has been declining since 2.1, people were hyped for 3.0 and there were lots of people, they saw it was the same content they left, it will keep happening until SE changes it, if they ever do.

    This game doesn't even have 1m subs, most likely round 600-700k at most, and it will keep going down if things don't change.

    - Remove sub rewards. (Its getting quite large for new players to meet these requirements and there is no way these players would be able to catch up. Before it was every month to 3 months but now you need to stay subbed for a year to meet each reward now. Its a joke.)

    This so much! (Except lizard race.) Also I think it would be great idea to make main story quest the hardest content, so people actually have to raid or at least get second best gear to complete them and witness the story. It instantly solves the "what's the point" problem of getting bis gear.

    Also make battle content more different. For example, in Promyvion battles you actually had to drink poison potions, so you don't fall asleep. Or farm a few weeks for item that extends enrage timer on one boss, etc

    - Don't add anymore beastmen dallies. We already have too many of the same content. Add something completely new.
    - Add in other rewards players will go after instead of minions & mounts. Its getting old.
    - Stop copying the same rewards and giving them a new skin/color swaps. (ADS balls, Zu mounts, White Fat chocobo, Beastmen dallies minions etc.)
    - Add in a triangle area and a multi floor area like what we had in to kill a raven.
    - Add in new PvP rules. Like King of the hill.
    - Remove the ability to choose frontlines & instead like it cycle randomly to different arenas so older & newer content never gets stale or dies out.
    - Slow down the combat a little bit when your adding in more actions into the game. (Balance the GCD a bit more)
    - Magitek Companion/Attachment, usefulness in 5.0.
    - Being able to use retainers on the open world.
    - Have Airships take you to special endgame areas, with a purpose.
    - Have Brass Seals give armor & used for relic quest line. Also be able to trade them.
    - Balance out desysthing where we can level it up without having to buy 500k equips.
    - Don't nerf vanity items just because more people want them. There is a market there and if you nerf it noone cares about showing off the $$$ vanity item.
    - Make Battle & Grand Company Leves important/more rewarding then what they are. (Players don't use them. Only on DoH & DoL leves. Fates & dungeons are faster exp.)
    - Add all rewards at the end of a dungeon. So players don't get the item and leave in a middle of a dungeon.
    - Allow players use large amounts of tokens to buy mounts that drop from primals.
    - Adding ways toget gil out of the hands of players. Hence adding shops that sell items for a recipe that no other way to obtain.

    These are what players have been asking for sometime or have been expecting since 2.0 was being built. Also a lot of balancing issues/need purpose needs to be done.
    While I don't agree with all of these (it's filled with contradictions and apparent lack of understanding of how systems work), it does illustrate quite clearly that there are a ton of things which can be done to improve old content as well as adding new stuff without the mindless Copy/Paste system we have now.

    I'm relatively certain many players, if not most, would love to see many current systems improved upon during a patch rather than adding yet another HM dungeon.

    Yeah it did.
    So many people rushed in aquapolis that the prices are dropping so much (moogle quest rewards didn't help too) it's almost worthless to go in again considering the luck factor on getting to the last rooms to get something worth (not even so much like the first days).

    well Cakekizzy, time for me to step in. Not to be "that" guy but unless you post via an alt character (I've seen yours that you post with) I'd like to politely ask if you've seen the majority of the content this game has to offer when none of your classes have even hit 60. That indicates to me that you haven't played the game as much as others. That's not to say that you can't voice your opinion, however, based on your responses and your account, I'd say you don't fully understand the situation that veteran players as well as those who've been playing extensively face.

    I assume you're a "newer" player and as such, yes the game will seem fine for the next year or two, however it is not a sustainable practice to rely solely on Newer or less dedicated players subscriptions and sales. It benefits the game as a whole to support both newcomers AND Veterans alike in the long run, hence this thread.

    That said, I'm liking the discourse of this thread and that it's starting to bring up more suggestions as it goes. I went ahead and posted Beetle's list on the OP.
    One thing that particularly stuck out to me for one reason that would help with the feel of dungeons

    - Bring back a way to change your Job/Class within a dungeon like with 1.0 dungeons. (Will cause more players to level more jobs & learn different jobs.)

    This would be cool especially if classes became somewhat less homogenized. I feel it would add a cool dynamic if there were specific areas in dungeons where you could find them
    and use them to change class inside
