Possible level/story jumps....really?

I mean really why play an rpg, if A - you hate levelling and getting stronger and B - nah i hate story focused games.

Why play a multiplayer game if you cannot directly join the others in the relevant content?

It's an MMO-RPG after all, which means you'll have to consider both sides. Which is why I really don't care much if the story becomes skip-able, I just feel the leveling should remain for now, since you get your abilities at a rather decent pace to slowly learn your class as you go.

i agree i dont care too much about the skipping but levelling is so fast and easy in this game, that someone shouldnt be dissuaded because theyre not 60 2 hours into the game. The biggest criticism with msq is how un group oriented it is, and i dont know if story is to be skipped maybe access to story primals/raids from 2.x/3.x being locked behind optional completion idk where youd draw the line honestly, but i feel like they should leave a little something for people who have been playing and supporting the game since launch or even heavensward, maybe having those badass ponies and glamours and birds being locked behind story would be enough idk
