leeches would like to have a word with you although i guess giving selene an aoe esuna was sort of a way they addressed the issueSE has needed to fix the low level tanking experience forever. It sucks. New tanks start out overwhelmed, unable to hold aggro, and get discouraged.
Tank stance should be available for the first group dungeon, or at the least tanks should get a "newbie buff" that gives them tank buff until they reach level 30.
The first job skill for all tanks should be tank stance.
No idea how people can argue against this. It would be like if healers don't get a heal until level 30 or dps can only autoattack until level 30; the player doesn't have the tools for their role.

Oh, yes, scholars have a bit of a bad low level experience, too. White mages have their skills early on, but scholars have similar problem to low level tanks not having tank stance; they don't get cleanse early enough.
It just doesn't matter, if the tanks loses one or two mobs sometimes in a low Level dungeon.
The trinity might be there, but in low Level dungeons it doesn't matter much, if you break out of it for short time.
At least that way cou can sometimes use Featherfoot/Haymaker/Keen Flurry/Ice2/Sleep/Shadowbind in a usefull manner, before they lose their effectivness and are removed from your hotbar entirely.
Also ACN/SMN's Physik is enough to help healing (if you got no fairy and healer has problems).
I cant agree more, though for like totoraks mini bosses id time eos'regen to offset the lack of a cleanse. As far as a tank stance, it would be nice considering gladiator or not, marauder or not, they are still classified as tanks. most dps get some form of damage enhancing stance or major cooldown in the lower level range(or theyre cross classible for the most part) though tanking has been made relatively easier since 2.0 (paladin main at launch was p bad, even with relic you could have mobs bouncing all over the place in level 50 dungeons) maybe theyll fix that. i dont agree with the stances being cross class though, as each one now gives a different penalty to damage, however it would be really weird to see a marauder using "shield oath" as the damage penalty is way less than defiances is now
Cleanse isn't a big deal lower level, a SCH has Adlo out of the gate and can just simply Adlo which the poison will end up eating the shield. Most don't do that or really understand how shielding works as "more effective HP" early on in their SCH career. Plus now they have Selene cleanse at earlier level. It was never a problem, and still isn't one.
That only works after Haukke for Adloquium, and Selene's recharge means any fight with multiple spaced out statuses have some that just slip past. Also, there's an entire guildhest based around statuses and esuna that SCH kinda get shafted on.Cleanse isn't a big deal lower level, a SCH has Adlo out of the gate and can just simply Adlo which the poison will end up eating the shield. Obviously, since after Haukke is when you become, you know a real Scholar. Regardless, even before Scholar-level dungeons and tests, it's still not a big deal for that guildhest. You have Eos Whispering Dawn available from level 1. That is way better to avert poison HP loss and party heal better than a CNJ has to offer at the level. Low-level healing Scholar is undisputedly the king. Leeches is just a nuisance but you have even better skills to not struggle with poison, ever.
