Well I saw a BLM with 8 ilvl less than him doing 1.950 before adds in seph at kill it was about 1450-1500, pretty good imo. Thing is this guy I talked about doing 1.1k, hes a good guy and he wants to improve all the time, figure it out, hes on ps4 and begs SE to give him a parser. Many people wants a official parser and those who do, want them for improvement more than harrasing as many in here saying we gonna do when there is a official one. You see, parser existed for a long time and if it's true what most people claim (harrasment and offending people), the # would been a lot higher, but I barely see anyone harras with the parsers.

That's because right now it's a banable offense(or the rumor has it). If you use a parser and don't talk about it it's all cool, even if detected chances are GMs are gonna look the other way, but if you use one, openly admit it in chat and harass another player based on it you can bet your ass it's not gonna end well.

My point and what makes other people in here they wont do the same if they release a official one? My mind is blown. No pro parser said it's fine to harras people if they had a official one.


This behavior happens a lot when people ask/tell you which skill you should use. You see, this is nearly troll level if not worse.

What I find odd about this is then, really, the only bannable offense is harassment - no? Like I can't imagine that there should be more leniency to say harassing someone because of their gender/race/sexual orientation, then there would be at harassing based on DPS. Perhaps I am wrong on that.

Actually no. The primary offense might be the harassement, and this will not change regardless but right now the use of parsers is prohibited as well cause they provide "an unfair advantage" to pc players over ps ones. So it stays all hush hush, which was my reply to why the numbers of that kind of thing aren't higher now.

We already covered that earlier. yes, this kind also exists and they're top grade A-holes. Most possibly duo que so they know they can't get kicked. Report them for abuse of Vote Kick function and move on. Nothing a parser can do here cause they simply don't care.

Enochian and AoE. Enochian is worth for 2 targets. It is worth to use on 3 targets or more for the extra damage. But it is not worth to keep up when you have 3 or more targets. B4 is 280 Potency and the 5% DPS gain from F3 + 2 Fire II + Flare is less than a Fire II. 168+540+540+1266 (3 targets Potency) is equal 2514. 5% of that is 125 Potency. 280 + 125 = 405 Potency for 3 seconds. Fire II is 540 Potency.

Unfortunately, BLM's 3.0 abilities were not designed for AoE.

My guess, from the context that three people rolled, one after another, that this was after a boss, therefore single target.

You'd also still use it for AOE, you just wouldn't keep up with it. If they had done that, they would have said something like "Yeah, I already used it. It's a dps loss to use bliz 4 to keep it up in AOE." Strange how toxicity (extreme) exists without a parser, when it comes to damage. ;3
