When the player is not doing enough dps then they should be informed about that happening. One of the reasons why so many players can't even do the basic rotation is because people suck it up silently and that person can inteionally or not do it in their next group...

If too many people of lower skill get in one group and nobody gets called on it, guess what happens? The whole group gets disbanded even if replacing one or two members could be enough to clear. This itself leads to frustration which in my opinion is far worse than any abuse parser could bring. Harassing with the numbers isn't easy, you need certain balls to do it and not many players have the courage to risk the white knights. On the other hand getting carried requires far less effort and as such more players can enjoy doing it in the shadows... transparency is one of the ways to limit the issue.

So pointing it out even if you clear can actually have a possitive effect in the long run - if the person wants to fix it of course.

so far though the majority of pro parsers seems to be wanting one in order for them to judge people, categorize and ostracize if needs be and not better the players as well as find a justification on why they failed or were so slow that they miss their favourite TV movie (yep heard this too..so no is not invented). In this game, the result is what matters, if you beat the boss you need to know nothing else, if you need to make sure you were*the best* or among *the best* then I feel sorry for you. The victory or failure is upon the whole group NOT just one or two, and no matter what the contribution is of each, each contributed to either of the failure or success. Being obnubilated by numbers is silly at best, you do know if you suck or not, I suck at being a BLM and I dont need a parser to tell me that I just can see it, in fact most players know their performance, what they dont know is HOW to better those not if they do well or not that is pretty much visible, and a parser is useless since they already know they suck, the only use it would have is to give others one more motive to demean players that are not up to THEIR standards (you know this true so dont tell me is not), you want players to be like you want them to be forgetting that players are person with each their own weaknesses, strenght to deal with, technical, physical, psychological, and those a parser cant tell you how they feel when they play with others or do a dungeon or what not.

Again if you want a parser, you have a plethora of those available use one, stay silent about it and group with like minded and just analyze your heart out..but leave the rest, those that dont want that stuff, in peace and move at their own pace.

The result is what matters, the group result, whaft does it matter if someone was just there to be carried ? you were there to beat the boss you did ...so move on and if you fail...well chances are you wont meet any of those ever again so ..move on. If you consider you lost your time, then chances are you shouldnt use DF to begin with and build your own static group'/PF party with your friends and those you have chosent, this way you wont have any of such problem, YET again, even among those there are days one is not putting all his efforts into the game and keep progression lower only you dont say anything right ? is your friend afterall so you forgive right ?

yeah is why I am pro individual parser...as opposed to group parser where everybody is privvy of everything when in truth it doesnt concern them the least
