exept they have a whole place for gambling called gold saucer... plus most of the game are rng based, make this system leave me.... confused.
the whole idea is... you are lucky you deserve more reward? like luck is a skill or nothing?

Welcome to MMOs, rng is everywhere. It's how they keep you playing (paying their bills). If they took away this system of rng, they would just replace it with a different one - probably a lower drop rate. And it would still be the lucky people getting the reward.

and? are we into a online video game or an online casino?
i will go farer, why block the player to reach them goal behind artificial wall? since anyway, they can do anything they want, everytime, the player seems to reach a saturation point about this much rng in the game?hm... something i miss in this discussion:
Why does it hurt you when players actually can complete something?
Why you will not allow players to reach the 7th floor?
If everyone having the best of the best gear, why exactly does it hurt you?!
It doesnt change anything!
Everyone done same as you did...
If its too easy or too hard thats anohter question but its not the point here with RNG because ... well its RNG ?!
without forget that we will have more and more jobs to equip (because not everyone only play one jobs! we are forced by the mechanic of the game, not that we want to do it... )
a dev of diablo 3 have said while an interview something quite interesting. (sorry can't find it anymore)
that it better to let the player get them loot and let them be happy if they stop for a time before the next content that make them frustrated.
indeed we are not into a hack'n'slash, but i feel the way square enix do the thing get soo much wrong. for get a whole set of equipement via token? about 11 week.... but at the same time we do have a lot of different job. what the point to make player spend almost 3 month for equip one jobs?
i will go farer, do player will be more inclined to played tank if they can equip it and still equip them main job?
naturally with the token+raid normal it possible to equip fairly correctly 2 jobs. we can argue about the raid 24 that can allows you to equip the other not soo badly.... but do it's what the player want?
let's go farer, some people can't complete some hard content, before be full stuff, it's not new, right? then if people was getting them loot a bit faster, not extremely fast, do it will not allows more people to do savage raid?
make the loot rare is not the bast solution always, it work in a game like wow, where you play only one jobs. here is not the case, everything wow did create around the loot, can't and must'nt be used for FF14 that use a multi class system. but i can say this, i'm sure a lot of people will say i'm a dumber and such, but admit what iam saying is not that false and hold a bit of truth that need to be think over.

The stuff dropping from Aquapolis isn't going to be class specific gear. If it drops like candy, the content will be stale in a week.

I'm afraid the loot has no bearing on how "stale" content becomes. The content is gonna grow stale quickly no matter what, the rewards are there so you do it anyway, despite it being stale.

I hope you realize that you're ranting about a loot system in a feature that doesn't drop any gear that increases your stats, right?
The Aquapolis is very similar to the treasure chests, so the loot will likely be:
Gil - presumably random amount from non-goblin rooms, 100k from the 7th room.
Crafting mats - the ones dropped during the live letter had the same icon as red scrip mats, but they could be different mats. Probably some rare mats for glamour stuff, too.
Grade IV/V materia - guaranteed from the rare rooms and the 7th room.
Minions - The baby opo-opo was mentioned during the live letter, probably a few others as well (both new and old ones)
