Lifting restrictions that are placed because of "lore"

Midgarsormr mount is locked behind lore, as in you need to earn it via following the story...

I don't understand why you are even arguing this point.

That's not what I meant locked by lore. I don't care that you get it from the story. The thing is, Red XIII was meant to be almost extinct...therefore can't have it as a mount...but thousands of players can all have Midgardsormr all at the same time. So their original stance apparently shifted.

As for glamour I'm of too minds. On the one hand I don't really see how opening things up would really hurt. On the other hand I kind of cant help but feel it would have a negative impact on the aesthetic sense to the game. It would erode the sense of 'this is what a spellcaster looks like' or 'this is what a rogue/ninja looks like', etc.

And you don't think that a paladin running in and tanking in a swimsuit and sandals erodes the sense of what a tank looks like? They lost any sense of that when they started letting us glamour items like that over armor. We have naked party members and reindeer, etc.
