Chiming in on your comment and touching on Raffounz's. SE could reasonably make it so you need to have cleared SSS to enter certain instances. WoW did it with their Proving Grounds and while neither SSS or the Proving Grounds are really that big of roadblocks its something I suppose for those wanting it.

Touching on what Raffounz said though. There is no feasible way that SE can create a system that prevents players from joining content unless they meet a arbitrary DPS requirement set forth by a PF leader. SE can make SSS a requirement but nothing is stopping players from button mashing once they complete SSS other than the group they are in kicking them from party. (Though in that scenario they're really just trolls at that point) Regardless making SSS required is reasonable and perfectly doable in my mind, but DPS requirements set forth by the system itself is never going to be a reality because other than something like SSS how would the system collect this data? Striking dummy target w/ every queue?

No matter what, some people are going to be jerks, but if you want to dps check everything, at least give us something legal we can use. I see no harm in allowing it in PF for non-duty finder. And if they put in a parser and say raid wide dps needs to be x, now you at least have a starting point and know everyone is capable of hitting that number.
