Stat boosts with titles?

If the deluge of asshole PFs and the community making certain titles mandatory to join isn't enough reason, titles also have an advantage over gear: They can be changed mid fight, allowing players permanent easily manipulable buffs during downtime.


Put simply at least having multiple titles purely for cosmetics allows for actual choice, making them have an effect on DPS would take that away and replace that with the illusion, and it will lead to multiple people only using the exact same title and berating others for their preference for titles (which I imagine would affect role players the most).

Doesn't make any sense. It would be much more like, "Hey, we need a mND buff and have both a BRD and a NIN - lucky for us our NIN also has a 60 WHM so they'll throw it up for you".

As opposed to now, where it's just well sucks to be you, i know i know.

The chances of what you are saying happening is as likely as people excluding ASTs and getting WHMs only just for the MND buff - no one will do it, because the MND buff is not that important. Hell would you rather a SCH with that title but has 100 less MND than one who doesn't? or skill wise? Makes 0 sense.

Edit: As an aside. Honestly, the fear of elitism and stuff like this has become so annoying, that I actually would prefer to have elitists around than people who fear it.
