I'd rather not have to level 5 more jobs to 60 to max out my stats.I feel that, instead, we should get some minor stats for hitting level milestones (like level caps or what used to be level caps) but the boosts are active for every job.
So, for example, get WHM to 50, +1 MND, get it to 60, +2 more MND, for a total of 3, and it applies to every job. Each job would get its main stat. Not a game breaking stat increase but it would help encourage trying out other jobs a little. A 60 MNK may be interested in switching to DRG after getting it to 60 for its small stat boost or something I dunno.
I mean if there were titles you'd be grinding those out to max your stats anyways, and there would more than likely be stat boosting titles from maxing out another class. Also, not having 3 STR probably isn't going to make or break your savage run.

It's all fun and games until you end up with your name being "Character Name The One That Connected Rano and Connous Ultimate Anime Summer Survivor".
I don't think that titles need stat boosts, personally. I wouldn't mind there being more titles for doing stupid things like falling off a cliff after aggroing a monster. Maybe have some NPC dialogue shift if you have a certain title on; keep it cosmetic, but add a little spice to it. Y'know?
No thanks!
I dont want dramas like this!
"Player A: Hey, you wear the wrong titel as tank/DPS/Healer" "Player B: But I dont want change my titel I like" "Player A, C, D: Kick him!" >_>
No thanks!
Personally, I'd like the current party buff system removed and replaced with something like this.
It's insignificant enough now that if we have AST/SCH in my static, the loss of MND isn't going to be a huge deal - but the MND buff would definitely be nice.
I'd rather throw up the title "Pure White" and boom, we have our party wide MND buff.
Maybe they could do it that each jobs titles applies the party buffs for the various levels (i.e. level 50 title gives +3%, level 60 title gives +4% or something? I forget what the buffs are currently tbh).
- this would help the AST/SCH issue with both bringing PIE, but not make things overpowered - as we'd be getting those buffs normally anyway. This just allows choice, and naturally most jobs will have that bonus for their 60 already (i.e. a 60 NIN will get a DEX bonus for the party with their title)
Then for other achievements they could have the perk be relevant to how the achievement was obtained, i.e.
Captain of the Hunt could make it easier for you to obtain credit for killing hunts (maybe not guaranteed 100%, but just a lower threshold).
Z could be used to increase the drop chance on relic items i.e. crystals.
Tempter of Fate/Temptress of Fate/The Fortunate (for completing FATEs) could increase the reward for clearing FATEs. Great for leveling more jobs.
Gambler would increase MGP rewards by a small %
The Exterminator (for defeating 50,000 enemies) could increase damage dealt by 1% to open world mobs
etc.
Naturally, not every title would provide a perk
How about for every title you have you get an additional attribute point.
I like the idea, maybe speed boosts, small minor stat boosts, maybe even a special dance that comes to one.
We can't keep everything exactly the same because of some crazy hypothetical scenario.
Please, NO.
Titles and achievements should have no (main game) mechanical effect. Any effects should be vanity only.
I'm sure nothing like that happened when AST, MCH, and BRD were seen as liabilities in the raiding scene in 3.0.
Tales of Graces did this but I doubt it will work here.
