For someone who can't clear or hasn't yet cleared Sephirot Extreme or invested the necessary time to complete a relic, the esoterics weapon is (until at least next week) their best available option. The same is not true of the Law, Poetics, etc. weapons.

The 210 relic also, that still doesn't qualify it as being included in the next tiers weapon grouping.
