If I can destroy the gordias stone sea sky dummy with 25 seconds to spare, will I potentially be doing fine dps in alex 4?
It just really put me off when they called me out on there parsing.

The whole thing with MCH is getting the best burst you can out of Wildfire and properly using your abilities to sustain your DPS afterwards. RNG does come heavy into play and one round you are getting a ridiculously high Wildfire, the next time, most of hits towards don't crit and get a lame Wildfire.

Each raid fight is different and you have to prioritize what abilities you use based on the situation. Like "Do I have time to wait for certain timers to make a bigger 2nd Wildfire? Or do I need to use it now before the boss jumps away?"

Like all jobs, knowing the fight and how it's pattern works is very important to keeping up that sustained DPS. If not, you are going to drop below others really fast.
