hmm can anyone explain this to me? I was checking some fflogs and saw this on one parse:

Checking deeper on it, the user has Gauss Barrel on and no Rapid Fire. So curious as to how is it possible to cast Slug in middle of Split-cast. Might be somethin im missing but this has been bugging me the whole day.
There has to be rapid fire or else i got no idea how he would pull that off.hmm can anyone explain this to me? I was checking some fflogs and saw this on one parse:

Hi all, our group just started doing A5s and we're barely getting by on Faust, and hitting enrage at around 10% on hummel. I've been popping B4b for Faust to help us get Faust, but I don't use any other cds (just reload after a 5 ammo pre pull). I use rook.
How are you guys optimizing your cooldown/ammo for this fight?

I use all my 60sc cooldown on faust (so Reload, Reassemble and Ricochet), they then get up exactly when Hummel pops, like a prepul preparation, and start the full rotation on hummel.
For the turret, depend of your team. I use rook too because we have a dragoon and a ninja, so more burst on the opener.

Ok, that's no different to what I'm doing minus b4b. I don't know what else to do to help the group get over the hump. As our rotation is pretty much linear especially if we're not popping cds

Hum, we also use potion, everyone, even our scholar for the bit he dps. As MCH, i've lost sometimes my rook to cleave, right after hypercharge so big loss of burst since hummel didn't got the full debuff, but it never stopped us from passing it ._.

But you hold the pot for when hummel drops right?
What i remember my group used to do on our first hummel kill was. Make sure your group only uses cds that are neccesarry to kill both faust in 50 seconds any faster than that and you are wasting time.
Once Hummel spawns as you run away u start popping your mch opening with pot and make sure your drg if you have one gives litany too before you apply lead shot and then its pretty much a race against time you have 90 seconds to kill Hummel in and make sure once your MT uses his big cds like living dead/holm gang have both your healers dps while your tank gives some notifacation about when its about to fall off a count down could work so the healer can get back to keeping your tank alive. But really if you can't kill hummel with the current gear and you make sure u all do optimized dps then its pretty clear someone in your group aren't pulling their own weight. Also dont forget to use AoE/Bishop for 2 faust.

Just came back from a break after quitting before 3.15 and I need some advice about my opener rotation.
So basically what I've been doing is the opener I read about on reddit:
Pre-Pull Hypercharge
Blood for Blood
Gauss Round
Hot Shot - Hawk Eye/Raging Strikes
Lead Shot - Reload/Rapid Fire
Split Shot - Wild Fire
Slug Shot - Reassembled
Clean Shot - Ricochet
Split Shot - Blank
Slug Shot - Head Graze
Split Shot
Clean Shot - Gauss Round
Slug Shot
------Wild Fire goes off------
Then its business as usual while keeping the right things on CD like Quick Reload etc.
Reload and Reassembled tend to line up nicely and so does Hawkeye/Blood for Blood/Wild Fire/Rapid Shot-Hawkeye is a tad off so I try to save it for Wildfire.
I think thats about it. I have Feint for movement and what not. I'm also assuming no one stance dances for auto attacks anymore correct?
