Yup SE adding all that new glamour and hoping you will have inventory problem so that you will buy those extra 6 retainers for $12 a month. SE master plan!

Oh, and it's not just on the person who forgets. Just last night, our tank forgot, and as a result, our entire group got sent to the back of the queue line with 30 minutes of our lives wasted

Also, not even going to comment on the huge exaggerations of glamour changing in your post other than to say my retainers are also pushing their inventory limits.

Yet you arbitrarily defend a system that in it's basest form has no real use other than to suck minute amounts of gil out of circulation. It's not even effective in it's own purpose.

what you will "Never understand" is things you find purposeless inconveniences are engaging or immersive experiences for others.

Got any proof of just how much gil it sucks out of the economy? If not, then I'm not going to indulge you any further on this.

Engaging and immersive experiences are great! But I draw the line at them when they start to negatively impact other players' experiences, and abandoned dungeon runs are pretty negative. Forcing players to adapt a playstyle they don't like and shouldn't have to adapt in order to avoid this is pretty major as well.

But do go on. You seem like you know quite a lot judging by what I've seen you say before.

Are you saying not having a mender in dungeons is forcing you into a play style you don't like?

How else am I going to repair gear in a dungeon if I forget without being forced into crafting?

Check your gear every time before queuing for a dungeon, problem solved.

Forgetting isn't a conscious choice, so easier said than done.

Edit: Out of posts for the day, so I'll respond to the last few comments making fun of my supposed forgetfulness here and the last assumption:

So then make it a habit. I've conditioned myself to automatically check my equipment whenever I enter an area with a mender. If stuff it low I'll repair the stuff I have the crafters for and then I'll go to the NPC for the other items whose class I haven't finished leveling yet. None of my equipment ever drops below 70% unless I spend a long time wiping in a single duty.
Please stop being insensitive. I CAN'T HELP THAT I FORGET. If after 2 years I still haven't "conditioned" myself, I don't think it's going to happen.

Whether I'm more forgetful than the average person or not, it's not something I can help. It's not my fault.

Please stop being insensitive to people who aren't as perfect as you. This feature would greatly help people like myself, and help you as well by default. Making fun of people who may have problems they can't help isn't nice.

I'm going to start calling you Assumey, since you assume so much. I did not quit TSW over this issue. I quit for a few reasons. One was that I met someone who got very abusive towards me there. Another was that the end zone and its combat changes killed my interest in it. I like this game better overall now, but you're insane if you think that means everything here is better. TSW had QoL superiority over this game in many ways. Another example is the lack of server borders, friends from all servers can play with each other at any time. Would you call that a bad thing too?

It's not a bad suggestion and the only answer to the contrary is that this suggestion would apparently devastate crafting. Maybe if the crafting system in this game wasn't designed like a tower of sticks with an impossible gap between beginning and end game crafting, it wouldn't.

You must be a forgetful person if that your main defense, anyways checking every time and it will become habit.

With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
