IDK about you but saying someone deserves to die over anything they do in a video game is far worse than any elitist.
May want to take a step back at that point and think about what you just said.
I would say that someone joining a farm group knowing that they are not capable of farming and expecting the seven others to devote their collective time to teach/carry him/her is far more self-entitled.

Its more a case of people being hypocritical and always blaming me, who just happens to be the one with a bonus, i dont join the farm groups but people still seem to point the finger are the bonus person...when i dont do anything wrong follow what im told....when its either most times a dps...
Only problem I see with this:
If this starts becoming the norm, people will increasingly buy clears just so they can't be singled out for their "bonus" or lack of clear.
Sounds like the problem would be exasperated.
Ummm........ I never said that, please don't put words into my mouth. People can make mistakes, people can even wipe if the reason was justified. What is not ok is joining a farm party and having no idea how to do the fight.
Also. What you are saying is that it is self entitled to expect that people meet the requirements set by THEIR party finder, this isn't even about peoples attitudes to raiding, this is about the respect to the party leader who is trying to get people of a certain skill level and a like minded goal to clear content, they are the ones who matter, not the real self entitled person who doesn't care about the other 7 people and only wants their own clear no matter what.
As I said before, communication and respect is what is important.
I can see that too, and it is really easy to fix but won't be... because SE...
this > people buying clears > prices for clears going up > RMT becomes more popular > we get more RMT. Cut out RMT and it makes buying clears a lot harder, but we know that won't happen.

Great! You want to set arbitrary rules, then that's your deal. I just don't want the game mechanic itself to be working against the players. There's no rule that states a new player is automatically going to suck, but if you automatically assume so then that's your problem.
Just don't try to make it anyone else's problem.
Nah, it's not that. People are getting the mistaken impression that raiders in general think our shit doesn't stink and we never mess up. I'll be the first to say that I have Sephirot on farm and I still screw up from time to time. An honest mistake is an honest mistake. We all make them. That's completely different from someone having no idea what to do past the adds, though. This kinda attitude is what ruins Raids in FF, people being self entitled that they demand everyone be so good they never make a mistake, the raids have become so easier compared to Sephi ex that people just think once you clear you can never make a mistake.
Also the more people who clear the better as it shows to SE that this content is just the right difficulty, the less players doing it will result in a nerf.
I'm willing to take people with a bonus message at their word that they've been to 5% or enrage or whatever. I'm willing to take them on a farm run but if after a few pulls it's clear they have no clue what they're doing, they get a boot to the ass and get put on my blacklist as well for lying. I'd still love to see this option in Party Finder because I have run into many people that join parties explicitly labeled as "farm run, know the fight" without having the first clue about anything in there and just hoping for a carry. Sorry, but no. If I'm farming, I'm not there to give myself a headache explaining everything to some dude that won't even pull up a 10 minute video on Youtube or a backache carrying dead weight through the fight. It would still be possible for those 5%'ers to join, simply by sending a tell to the party leader. Most of us are pretty reasonable and understand that it happens sometimes.
In short, if I want to teach I join a learning or clear party. I'm always willing to teach friends (and friends of friends, lol) and people in my FC. As for carrying, I'll carry friends and paying customers, not freeloading sneakthieves that try to sabotage my farming. I have a serious dislike for people that lie like that when I'm willing to help with learning if people only expend the effort to try.
The fact of the matter is that someone that's cleared the fight is way more likely to know the fight than someone that hasn't. The only real exceptions are 1) someone that paid for a clear/got carried by friends and 2) someone that's been to enrage but hasn't quite cleared yet. Aside from those two exceptions (which seem to be a pretty small minority in my experience) the vast majority of people that have cleared are going to know the fight better than people that haven't cleared. I don't see why this is suddenly an "arbitrary rule" to want people on your skill level to farm with and why you seem to think it's such an awful thing to want to be able to make a Party Finder option that would filter out those players that are just looking for a carry.Great! You want to set arbitrary rules, then that's your deal. I just don't want the game mechanic itself to be working against the players. There's no rule that states a new player is automatically going to suck, but if you automatically assume so then that's your problem.

I just do not see why splitting the raiding community up from the others even more into the first ones who have plenty of time to clear and those who don't have as much time but love to raid...doesnt make sense since the raiding community is one of the smaller groups i mean how many are actually doing Sephi Ex? I only every seen at most 2-3 parties.
The majority of raiders use a pre made group of 8 people so whats the point in adding the no bonus filter? The whole idea is to find 8 ppl that work together, there is no way a sephi ex run clears perfectly without voice coms.
