I would point out that the enochain rotation is a liv 60 rotation, and is very different from the rotation used by the black mage while levelling, so saying that he/she "had lot of oportunities on her way to lvl 60 to learn the rotations" is just a non sense (however I find very funny how many 'pros' in this topic ignored this 'little' thing).

Except the OP asked why they weren't using the actual ability (which you get at level 56, and learn to maintain at level 58) not why weren't they doing the level 60 rotation. Even if they didn't know the level 60 rotation, the least they should know is that it boosts the damage of your spells.

I find it funny how so many 'pros' in this thread ignored that enochian is literally another raging strikes that you pop and get more DPS. Sure you need to learn how to keep it up but as the OP said they had to ask for the BLM to even start using it.

Is not a problem of standards, but a problem of how to give an advice to a person who does not know the liv 60 rotation (maybe he/she was a fresh 60?), and, for sure, "hi is this a bot?" is not a good way to start.

So you sarcastically calling whoever disagrees with you a "pro" is fine, but pointing out how the OP started the convo isn't. Double standards.

Criticism is okay, but keep it polite and constructive. Stick to the mathematical facts and don't imply any personal stuff.

That being said, you WILL encounter people that think they are gods gift to the gaming community and that take even implied criticism personal.
In that case it is best to ignore such a person, as your efforts will most likely be in vain.

If a BLM forgets to use 1 CD, let them know. Same with other classes. "Hey healer, you forgot to stone skin our tank" or " hey DRK, you forgot to turn grit back on" instead of stupid passive-aggressive questions. People are more likely to take it better when you don't come off as a whiny tool.

I've noticed more than one person mention something similar (sorry to put you on the spot, Ciri), specifically people who don't have BLM at 60. I think it's worth pointing out again that Enochian is not an ability like raging strikes or blood for blood that give you nothing but damage boosts. Without Enochian up, you CANNOT perform your level 60 rotation as it allows you to use Fire IV and Blizzard IV. It's not an ability you can simply forget to use. I hope that clears a few things up for some.

Seems like every time one of these threads pop up, its concerning dungeons. Even the healer threads. We all know the dungeons (minus the expert ones) are facerolling boring and easy and don't require even remotely trying your best.

I'd actually be on the OPs side and care alot more if the threads were concerning an actual difficult raid or challenging content where players are pushed to their limits and forced to learn to do their job well. The make it or break it points.

Unfortunately actual challenging content is few and far between in this game. There really should have been some of these during the actual story questline but whatever, that's another big debate all by itself.

The truth is you can't force anyone to play in a manner you think is appropriate. "This is unacceptable" is actually an unacceptable way to think about something like this. It's unacceptable because you don't have control over them. You would like to, but you don't.

I've encountered plenty of players that I perceive as "bad", we all have, and the unfortunate truth is they are here to stay. You may try and educate them, but in some instances you may come off as trying to harass these individuals. OP could've handled the conversation better, this is a fact, but in the end there is no guarantee the other side won't try to defend "their way", even if it's horrendously awful.

To me, what is unacceptable is the use of the vote kick feature. I don't think either side should have used vote kick in this fashion. If the BLM not using Enochian (and refusing to use it) had caused the party to be unable to complete the content, then yes. If the OP had been harassing the BLM to an actual extent that could be considered harassment (not asking an unfriendly question, but downright degrading verbal behavior) then it'd be OK to kick. However, neither situation had occurred, and the use of the vote kick feature was clearly uncalled for. It's pretty sad that this sort of thing happens, and that people can't get over their high-horse long enough to realize that they are ruining somebody else's experience.

People always talk about how parsers and things like that will cause a toxic community; however, this is a prime example of how the anti-elitist crowd has become just as toxic (if not more) than the elitist crowd.

I also find it incredibly sad that the community has got to a point that the majority don't even talk in party chat, and when they do you're often likely to find situations like the OP's. The fear of either being harassed, or being reported for harassment has left a lot of us keeping our comments to ourselves.

I'd like for the development team to seriously consider adding incentive for people to work together and chat in grouped content. I'd rather expert roulette be a more social experience than one filled with silence and spamming AoEs on trash mobs.

That's fine. Was just using it as an example is all. I figured it was similar to Darkside in execution.
