How many times are we going to make this thread, really?
It's the same circle jerk every time, aren't your hands tired by now?
With the reputation that DF has of being "filled with scrubs" (which it really isn't that bad) why are people consistently using it, AND surprised?
But repeating the same threads over and over again is what makes us special. How many times are we going to make this thread, really?

If you have a hot date you need to catch whilst doing that df roulette, you may need to rethink how you play the game, rather than complain about "teh casuals". "Respecting people's time" often sounds like its an excuse for being a rude tool. This is the typical thing most ''casuals'' say. Sorry, but I have to say it. When you seriously do something with people or help people to try understand their class later then say ''you taking game too seriously''. Ever heard about time is precious? What about respecting peoples time. If I KNOW I'm bad, I would rather leave then say something like what you just said. Ugh.

Kinda why I always try to be nice, mostly cus I dont want to get booted and waste my time cus majority of the time it seems at least 2 people came together. Id probably at least ask if they would like advice before trying to call em out. Long as they are not wasting your time to the point of causing wipes, its not the worst thing to happen. I know I probably look like a fool as a new 60 blm stuttering around starting spells then noticing timers only to stop and recast, surely cutting my own dps for rotation memory sake.

Lol, I'm all for getting bad players good. And I'm against bad players refusing to learn.
But are we seriously going to act like OP has no blame? Expecting everyone to be an "adult" and take cruel criticism as a positive is not something everyone can do easily.
It's not a free pass and be a jerk off the bat by "is this a bot?". This auto implies laziness, when the player might not even know if it's worth using. Plenty of skills become near useless after you get them. And I can totally see a noob thinking something like touch of death thinking it's not worth it anymore because the benefits of it aren't obvious.
I've very rarely get that level of push back when you do it politely. And I've yet to be kicked out of a dungeon.
While he could have addressed it better, I don't have any more reason to believe that the BLM in the screenshot would have responded any different regardless of how it was worded. And also, your bolded statement goes back to the players straight up not reading their tool tip, especially in the case of enochian where it's a level 54 skill and just by using it is a straight 5% damage boost. A complete disregard to pay attention to what your skills do, especially that late into the game, can't be anything but laziness or willful ignorance. It's not a free pass and be a jerk off the bat by "is this a bot?". And I have been kicked out of (although most of the time I was going to bail anyway) for wording it as nice as possible. Like I mentioned previous, it's offensive if you take it as such. Regardless of how you word it (asking them why they're doing what they're doing, or opening up some suggestions to improve), they'll still just as likely to tell you to bugger off one way or another if they honestly do not care to improve.

Maybe it could have been taken care of better but still they didn't react the way they should have. Going from what the WHM said she did start using it. They just didn't take the question of "why are you not using this?" right. Maybe they forgot or didn't know and figured no one would call them out on it. Still you got ganged up on and for no good reason. Would wording it a bit nicer really have made any difference? By their reaction, I don't think so. Maybe you should of started off with a hug, and a cut away with your character behind the Jerry Springer "Final Thought" backdrop..and really hit home to their sensitive souls. After all..if you don't talk to your kids...I mean Black Mage about Enochian..who will?
By now someone leveling from 50-60 should know you get a new skill and ask "what do I do with this? How do I use it?"
I'll admit there are some points where I get a new move and I do not put it in my regular rotation because I forget. If someone tells you about it, suck it up and start using it. Boost a players ego and your own productivity in the game..and that's a scenario where everyone wins!

Thanks, I really appcriate you call me rude tool. The fact I'm thankful is because most people most of the time can't deal with a person like me around, telling the truth. No, really, I do know it's duty finder that they talked about, but this isn't excactly the issue most of the time. When 7 people who are teaming up together and do well, while 1 is doing bad dps and cant meet the dps check, should I completely ignore it and say it's fine? And pretend something is not wrong? No thanks, I rather help them, much as I help the guys at the gym for doing the excerises wrong, some get offended and some doesn't. Those who get offended however, are people like you.
When I take my time to teach some one or give them a tip or two, but they get offended that's their fault, not mine. I don't mind ''bad players'' as long they are willing to learn. From the reply you gave to me, looks like you are one of those who aren't willing to learn and ignore the problem. Meh.

I would say it will be repeated for as long as the issue is happening. How many times are we going to make this thread, really?
