    I hope they are looking closely at the data for red scrips to see that it was a really bad idea and should just keep everything on blue scrips at the very least. I'm guessing a very large portion of the crafting community has completely ignored red scrips or barely participates in it.

    The problem wasn't nessescarly the red scrips itself, but what you did with that red scrip. For gatherers, it was used for favors. That alone made even getting ready to craft to become an utter chore.
