Honestly, it seems like they're practically saying "Don't bother with Anima; just do End-Game Raids."
With that kind of mentality, what's even the point of adding them? They don't seem to realize that as much "Time" as it takes to get them, people will be able to get an equal or superior weapon just by waiting to do easy content in the next update...

Their statements about adjusting the future updates, in 3.25/3.3 and beyond, seem to suggest they do plan to address these worries...still sucks for now, but hopefully the next stage of advancement will feel more balanced out for everyone.
I'm not sure where people are getting that Relic is always meant to be BiS. Gear is outdated with every new patch, relic or not. Relics are also not meant to be BiS either, they're designed as an alternative to the top endgame equipment. The logic in your complaints here falls off because this isn't a "one and done" piece of equipment and will instead constantly be evolving between major patches and most likely eventually being customizable so that someone who put in the time can have a BiS weapon without ever raiding. Once again, this is a horizontal upgrade path, not a vertical one and is designed to catch a person up if they choose not to do savage.

Want to spend less time and get your best gear available? GO DO SAVAGE! That's what its there for.
