    Can I get away with playing without Gauss Barrel? How much would my DPS loss be? I really don't like the cast timer and it has turned me completely off the class.

    If you want to do savage raid with gauss barrel off i think it will be near impossible to make the neccesary dps. But i would recommende you to just learn the class and its rotation, because once you finally get to the understanding of the class its such a satisfying feeling playing the class.

    Absolutely not. Gauss Barrel is mandatory.
