The problem with "new players also may want houses" is, that currently no new player can get a house because the wards are full of former players. Current players can't get a plot, they couldn't even buy them, because the (potential) seller died long ago (left the game) and there's been no heir. Now there is one (the delete-automatic).

Personally I'd have found it better if they had their timer set at 6 months instead of 6 weeks, because what are you gonna do when you have an accident and are in hospital for 3 months? "Nooo, don't fix me, I gotta protect my online house!"
