Proof again that you have no house and know not what you speak of. Again, it may be an extra month and a half of waiting if I take a break, but it's still an over 2 year investment on my part. Just because I suddenly take a 3 month break doesn't magically invalidate 2 years worth of work, nor it means that I don't care about it.

You people keep thinking that just because "We want an extra month" or so means we don't care about the house really shows just how little you know of the situation or how eager you are to tear someones house for no reason (And no, chances are you are not getting a house with this system either).

And your biggest mistake is thinking you that taking a break means you don't care about it. That is the whole crux of the issue. We CARE about our house, and now we are permanently tied to it. Again, basically it means house owners, unlike everyone else in the game, no longer have the luxury of ever taking a break.

No one else but house owners have this pressure. Players on Balmung won't suddenly find their characters deleted because "They needed server space". Your retainer won't disappear if you didn't access it for a random amount of time. Your gil won't suddenly be redistributed to help the economy. Nothing of this happens, except for house owners. This is what's wrong.
