Can we get an Official clarification on housing Demolish timer (45 or 90?)

Basically, the German version of the game states that the process is 45 days to be considered inactive, then an additional 45 days to lose the plot (Which is IMO much more reasonable). The NA version seems way too ambiguous and makes no such distinction, making many believe the entire process takes only 45 days.

OP, you get in-game mail stating your inactivity, you get TWO e-mails to your personal e-mail account about your inactivity. If you cannot visit your house in that time with that much notice, do you really need a house?

Agreed. Timing was always key on this, and the main reason this initially didn't make it was the 35 day setting... Ten days extra isn't going to be met with much of a different response... Bad enough they delayed step one in addressing housing this long, without having step two ready as well... I think this news would have gone down very differently if it was paired up with "New Wards!", instead of the Halloween event...

Honestly? I wouldn't mind this if they had planned to initially have a short timer, but then to extend it at a latter date... The main issue currently is plots owned by players who've quit, and I'd want a short timer to move those along as soon as possible, but in the long run a three month timer seems much more reasonable. That 45 days isn't going to affect any real player immediately after 3.1 is released, they'll be enjoying 3.1 after all. In the long run though, 90 days would have been much better...

I am sorry for copying the German text here but I think OP is misunderstanding:

- Unterkünfte, die mindestens 45 Tage lang (Erdenzeit) von keinem Mitglied der Gesellschaft (bei Gesellschaftsunterkünften) oder dem Besitzer (bei persönlichen Unterkünften) betreten worden sind, und die dazugehörigen Grundstücke.
- Grundstücke, auf denen spätestens 45 Tage (Erdenzeit) nach Erwerb noch kein Gebäude errichtet worden ist.

English version in comparison:

- Free company housing that has not been accessed by at least one member within forty-five days.
- Private housing that has not been accessed by the owner within forty-five days.
- Purchased plots of land upon which an estate has not been built within forty-five days.

As you can see, point one and 2 in the English version are the same as point 1 in German. Point here is, there is a differentiation here. Point one and Two in German are 2 different scenarios.
The first applies when a house has been build. House AND plot are affected after those 45 days. (point 1 and 2 in English)
The second applies to plots that have been purchased but a house has never been build.

There is no wrong text here. In either case, 45 days are the time limit to lose your plot (and house if you build it)

Quite frankly, if you are not even logging in once every 45 days, you have no need for a house, and you are just keeping it from people who'd ACTUALLY utilize it.

Ok, I missed that but I see what you mean.

I still think it's not wrong as it refers to the point made above. What is meant is that this system is implemented with 3.1 but affected plots and houses will not be demolished immediately on the day 3.1 is released. This will happen earliest 45 days after 3.1 has been implemented.

I am not sure why they chose this extra clarification though as it seems to cause more confusion than anything else. Hope that clears it up
