That extra line is only the German version. Not in NA, FR, or JP.http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...3e7ccabefa9954
No mention of 90 days anywhere in the NA version. Their mistake, not mine.
What about active duty military members sent overseas for months at a time. They are being punished with this.
They're not forcing me to pay my subscription to keep my land at all. If I want to unsubscribe, it is because the game is failing in some way, and virtual property is not going to force me to stay. I don't think it will compel any rational person to keep playing... I've spent... Upwards of 100M on Housing by now? That 100M is not worth $15/month. It is not what's keeping me playing Final Fantasy XIV, and potentially losing it is not going to compel me to keep playing if the rest of the game turns to Blizzard scented crap.
Couldn't have said it better myself. People here are really short-sighted. And I'd also like to point out that:Do some math, 92,160 total houses on all servers among 5,000,000 subscribers(ignoring FCs), that's 92160/5000000 = 1.8% of players have houses... now... take away all of their houses and give them to new people because they got evicted then you have... 92160/5000000 = ...1.8% of players still have houses! Hurray for a system that adds NOTHING, punishes people for taking a break, and still keeps 98% of the subscribers out of a home! Good job, fanatics!
If SE had a solution to fix availability (so that 100% of players could get houses instead of 1.8%) then this 45 day timer system would have been a waste of time for them to create, because they would have a long-term permanent plan to fix availability.
All this reveals is that they DO NOT have a plan, and are actively trying to reward themselves through their own failure to come up with one. If you really want to see availability improve and if you really want to fix the housing system, you must spit this back in their faces. This is insulting.
Yeah, the german translators do a good job in making things clear. Anyway, you can also read it in the NA version as quoted already.
Estates are subject to demolishing after 45 days of inactivity. Then the demolishing process starts (takes another 45 days).
SE greedy ways of keeping player based I guess. They already delay 3.1 Patch and not a lot of people are still subscribing. They know Patch 3.1 won't hold lot of people to keep subscribing and this is their ways to make sure you guys gave them all your money.
"All Ur Base Belong To Us!" Mwaahaha.

What if you usually play about 3-4 months each time they add raid content and them take a rest till they add more?
Except now the wolves are hungry, so they're willing to attack each other for food, instead of teaming up against the one who has the real food. All they did was wait long enough until the demand drove us to the point of accepting such a ridiculous idea. Kamikrazy is really accurate in what he is saying, even if people don't want to listen. They created a problem, they avoided real solutions to the problem, and now they're going to keep profiting from the problem they made. THIS IS AN ACCURATE OBSERVATION, NOT AN OPINION.Okay, I had to google around cause I thought I was going nuts, but this is pretty much the exact same plan from April 2014, the only real difference being that it was 35 days instead of 45. When they scrapped that plan, it took them a year and a half to add 10 days to the expiration timer.

The big complaints from that plan? The exact same ones people are bringing up now lol. So 18 months to not solve a problem and just continue with the same plan that people complained about.
There are 92,160 houses on all servers, which is nearly synonymous with saying there are now 92,160 subscribers who will always be subscribers to this game. Even if one of them decides to quit, another will take their place and stay just to keep their house. They just ensured they will always maintain a healthy income, nothing more.
Hope none of my military friends get sent to Afghanistan or wherever for months and come back homeless. This move made by se makes me not wanna play anymore. They clearly have money in mind, not the players.
We agree here.
I'll say it once again, it is not on the NA version. It is not 'quoted already' currently.
They way the NA list is currently edited, it shows it as the "steps prior" are what happens during the subject of demolishing
