Some news, we were able to unlock Sector 22 by exploring 20, and the unlock did not appear in the voyage log.

The Sectors unlocked only appear in the initial log, and not in the "view previous log" option for some reason. I discovered 16 and 19 in the same voyage today (woo double luck) but went back to SS the log and the notifications weren't there. If this is the initial log pre-finalization, well then IDK you have a phantom unlock.

Nah, it didn't show in the initial log either, only in the chatlog/toast pop-up when I finalized the report. Regardless, don't think I've seen anyone say you could unlock 22 from exploring 20.

The Spreadsheet got a confirmed entry of SC22 unlocking from SC21 - so yes, noone has said that 22 unlocks from 20 because its 20->21->22 ^^

Nah what he meant is that he got it through 20, it's only an assumption to say 1 sector can only unlock one area but in this case 20 seems to be capable of finding both 21 and 22 and I can attest to that. An Airship that returned to other day was 18-21-20 and it was on the report for Sector 20 that stated we found Sector 22 it didn't say it during Sector 21 and as far as I know new sector notifications tend to happen within the Sector you were in and they don't all appear at the end.

In my case if you looked at my screenshot, the airship was on a solo trip to 20, and unlocked 22. No 21 involved (though I already have that unlocked) so that unlock is not so linear.

It might be bugged, as I havent had a sector unlock actually show in the log for a long time now.
