Why keep DF off of new content?

Make it duty finder when it first comes out please I'm begging you.

What's the point though? You either take the time to make a PF and have an actual chance to see the boss and maybe make some decent progress. Or you queue via df and will get utterly destroyed by Faust for 90 minutes.

This. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to kill Faust with a DF group. Most melees i meet in DF do less damage than my static paladin.

People still fail gigantically at Faust in normal mode. Yesterday i did another run and almost everyone got hit by the huge lazer every single time. Now before you say anything, this is not an uncommon theme.
These are not baseless claims at all, this is simply the fact to what kind of people are in DF.

Because different data center has different circumstances.
My experience with alex DF normal is one shot 90% of the time.
I usually DF 3-4 times a floor depending on my loot luck.
I pony farm through DF.
I clerared T5,9,13 through DF. Granted it has echo and everything, bit still harder than alex normal now.

I'm sorry, but all DF nightmares I've heard all come from NA.

Well you are 100% true the DF horror stories come from non japanese data center simply due the way DF is getting seen by the different people.
In Japanese datacenter it is basically bring your A game, do no fuck around so you don't waste others time and use party finder to practice. I watch a couple Japanese streams and when i see titan ex getting 1shot from df i somewhere die a bit inside.
on NA/EU the general idea is DF is for practice, you don't need to know anything, and can fuck around and party finder is for serious mode.

So of course you are going to get a different opinion but in no way the people that claim it wouldn't work are "baseless"
They base it on their own experience, it's just that we all have a different one.

In short, it might work in Japanese data center, but it would be an utter disaster anywhere else.

I've quite literally never seen that happen before. (Out of approx. 60 runs since Alex NM came out)
