Why keep DF off of new content?

I really enjoy this game and the endgame content seems like what I want to do, but I work really odd shifts as an event security guard, so I can't commit to a static as I can't guarantee I can be available. So I can't do that. I've also tried PFs for hours on-end for parties and gotten nowhere. So I can't do that. I would really like to DF these things I want to do. But... I can't do that. And this last one is the most arbitrary of the three, as it's just 'what SE wants'.

When I started I thought XIV was very progressive for its party-matching system, but then you get to the endgame and they drop it entirely until the content is old/irrelevant/you need it cleared to do the next thing. If people want to throw themselves into content like that, shouldn't SE just let them?

because there's no hope for DF group to even get pass phase 1 of any of those content.

Well, they've always done it this way. Don't know the reason behind it though.

But I don't feel content gets "old" right away when they put it on DF(in every major patch?), maybe when they start adding echo there, then it does become old/irrelevant.

@Evangela: Not much of a reason though. I'd rather do things in vain than do nothing at all. Plus, it means you can learn up and experience it, so even if you don't clear at least you're taking in something.

If the players don't want to put any effort to even create a premade party then they don't deserve to challenge these content. you can't learn or practice anything with DF group that will be disbanded in 5 minutes. it a waste of server resources too.

My only guess is that this way "challenging content" will be available for those who'll make a pre0-made and then once all data has been viewed and the content itself is more or less outdated they can proceed to make adjustments (echo, getting rid.nerfing mechanics, etc) to make it easier for random DF groups to beat it.

@Evangela: Goes to show you did not read my post. I work awkward hours, so can't static reliably, and I put up PFs for hours and get nobody joining. It's not a will issue at all.

@Strejda: A minor symptom, and if there's one thing to not complain about, they will find another. Whiners gonna whine, this wouldn't stop it.

To reduce stress on the instance servers while groups that actually have a chance at clearing it are, y'know, attempting to clear it?

Idk much about instance server loads though, so that might be an apples to oranges comparison.
