    That's always been pretty common looking back the last 2 years, something I'm sure other bilingual folks have noticed (those who actually watch the live letter broadcast in full). Anything spoken tends to get a 'broad' translation, seemingly done by somebody in a hurry at 3AM in the morning.

    Not that it matters much as usually we only need to wait a few weeks before the changes go live anyhow.

    Yeah I'm pretty happy with these changes. Meditation now takes only 6 seconds to go from 0-5 stacks as opposed to 7.5 seconds, FC doesn't seem like it will clash with the GCD and we get 3% more overall damage with GL3. An extra 2 seconds on GL ain't as big of an upgrade as I would've hoped but I hope it's enough for me to keep GL3 during the phase transition from human to single hand in A3 Savage.

    The Tornado Kick change doesn't really do anything considering that it's hardly used at all to begin with.

    EDIT: I did a quick little test and it seems pretty easy to weave in a Chakra stack during combat now, although it has to be done at the point were you would normally put Fracture on. I use the DK method were I apply Fracture if there's 4-5 seconds left on DK and I'm in Opo-opo form. Didn't see a massive DPS loss on my part so I'm wondering if this is actually pretty viable to do this in exchange for not using Fracture...unless someone else finds a way to perform both.

    Just so we're clear, it's not 3% more overall damage :P

    130%/127% = 2.36% more overall damage.

    The extra 2 seconds on GL is not only fair, it should've been done when they moved the timer to the start of the GCD in the first place.

    That is not how the math on that works. . .

    1.27*1.05*1.1*1.125 = 1.65021

    1.30*1.05*1.1*1.125 = 1.68919

    Looking at closer to a 4% increase, not 2.36.

    i still cant see meditation being weaved into the normal rotation and get more dmg out of it, aslong as it has GCD.

    I find it funny that they reduced the timer on Tornado of all things. Either bringing back the 500 potency (not even for balance sake, just to reduce the sadness of seeing the buff wear off with high numbers) or reducing immensely the delay between attack and effect would have felt better. Unless the attacks DO hit the target when the boss disappears, even if you don't see the number on the screen or the log, but I guess that's not the case ._.

    I'm gonna bring it up again now after the buff... Is this increase in DPS gonna make a big enough difference?

    Like SunnyHirose said, it's actually not even 3% increase in DPS, it's 2.36%. MNK and DRG was pretty even on DPS before the buff (although DRG was slightly higher in my experience), but if it's anything like how it was in 2.X, BRD's get like a 7-8% increase to their DPS (have no idea about MCH), and then you have Battle Litany on top of that. I don't know how much Litany actually gives you, but even if you only count the Disembowel buff, that could increase a BRD's DPS by like 80-90 DPS or something, does that 2.36% increase to DPS make up for that?

    I know MNKs are not miles behind or anything, but what's really annoying me, is that players are saying MNK didn't need the buff, and that they're now OP...

    What I've found so far: Form Shift is no longer necessary for the opener, you can mostly use the 2.0 opener. You can use one additional fully buffed GCD after refreshing GL3 with the first Demolish, which should be Fracture.
    The damage buff is nice, we're on par with DRG dps, might even be top again. Still lacking support and synergy. So, unless you wanna run PLD, DRG/NIN is still the more optimized composition.

    Edit: (ST?)->PB->DM->SP->(BFB)->SP->(IR)->DK->(Pot)->TW->(EF)->TOD->(HF)->BS->(SP)->TS->(FC)->DM->(ST?)->FR->DK->TW->SP

    And its those people that need to remove their heads from their asses. You said it though, we bring little to the table as far as raid utility. So a slight boost is better than nothing. And honestly, most of us bring our "A" game in every way we can. But there are still those MNK's out there that lose GL, and won't benefit from this at all. Just my two cents.
