Accessibility does not mean ease. Much like how raids take a considerable amount of time or effort to complete even though anyone can step into them as long as the basic prereqs are met. If houses were unlimited in number but cost 100+ million gil to purchase they would fall under the definition of accessibility which the current housing system does not.

You also seem to fail to grasp the fact that the majority of complaints about housing have little to do with the actual costs of housing and its mechanics. The only time costs factors into the complaints is as it relates to scumbag players abusing a broken system for their personal benefit.
