Seriously though your again missing the point. Most people expected the expansion to be different with enough variety of atuff to do but instead its in several ways 2.0 dullgrind only with MORE boring grind for less return on rewards. True the devs need to make the content last a while but the gating is so blatantly obvious is hardly worth bothering to play at all. This isnt about casual even its the fact that the content released is so.. excessively grindy and boring compared to the earlier content. The esoterics grind is just the most blatant manifestation of it as I for example like many others we would focus on the job specific armor and upgrade that. Instead its added as gated content at a rate thats so slow that it takes nearly 2 months just to get the core armor and weapon for Just one job.

Esoterics is the old Poetics/Soldiery armor system but the armors only good on one job. Same work Less reward. Thats the biggest gripe. Im fine to put the work in if it feels its achievable at a reasonable rate but everything with 3.0 is grossly overinflated from dungeon grinds for alts to poor rewards from fates (though they have adjusted them this week) to the new esoterics gear. I mean it should only take 3 weeks and not take 2 months to get a core 5 piece armor set and weapon. The challenge should be in upgrading em further.
