It does not make any difference what price people put them on MB for, the only thing that matters is what people are willing to pay and the price will drop like always does until it hits the right level for the buyers. So just wait, the prices will drop drastically.

Why would they drop drastically? The demographic of people that can supply these mats are:

1) Level 60 DoLs with 600 Gathering and enough perception to get 470 collectibility
2) Gatherers that are spending scrips on Favors rather than gearing
3) Gatherers that are farming these items for the purpose of selling rather than for personal use

On top of that, there is a weekly limit to how much this demographic can farm them, there is an RNG factor that limits supply, there are 10 different materials (5 Miner and 5 Botanist) so supply of each mat is going to be further divided.

I'm not saying I think it's good or bad design, but Ehcatl Sealants and these are two different beasts.
